University of Gothenburg will be represented by Centre on Global Migration and Andreas Diedrich during the event 'Swedish Universities - research and innovation addressing societal changes' in Washington DC.
The event is arranged jointly by University of Gothenburg and the universities of Uppsala, Stockholm, Lund och Umeå, and will take place in Washington DC October 26, 2017. The event aims to publicize the ongoing research and innovation at the five universities.
During the event, three research areas will be highlighted; cancer, sustainable society and migration. University of Gothenburg is responsible for the migration theme and Centre on Global migration will be represented in Washington by Andreas Diedrich.
The target audience for the event are research funders, American universities, Swedish university alumni and othert interested persons. The day before the event, there will be an alumni night for former students of the five Swedish universities.
