Global Migration Seminar: Presentation of the Migration Studies Delegation, Delmi

Research profile seminar

The Migration Studies Delegation is an independent committee that initiates studies and supplies research results as a basis for future migration policy decisions and to contribute to public debate.
Henrik Malm Lindberg, ass. professor and Delegation Secretaty at Delmi will present Delmi's activities and mandate.

The Delegation's mandate includes formulating policy questions and initiating research, as well as presenting studies that are relevant from the perspective of migration policy development.
The research Delmi provides is intended as a basis for future policy decisions, as well as to contribute to societal debate.

Delmi's studies in the field of migration are organized within the framework of five thematic subject areas, for the purpose of emphasizing research that is relevant to policy, and in order to address a diversity of migration policy-related approaches.

Delmi's five thematic areas are; Migration and development; Labor market; Diversity and welfare; Democracy; Institutions and laws.

All Global Migration Seminars start with a common breakfast at 8:30 in the kitchen at School of Global Studies (Fourth floor, house 2E, Campus Linné). Welcome!
