CGM at MR-dagarna: How can labour migrants' rights be secured in the global world?

Research profile seminar

Centre on Global Migration will take part in "MR-dagarna" (Human Rights Days) 2017 in Jönköping with a panel on labour migrants' human rights.

Globally up to 90 percent of all international migrants consist of labour migrants and their families.
How can labour migrants' rights be secured locally and internationally?
What role do international conventions and agreements play, including a core international instrument of ICRMW, ILOs standards on migrant workers, and UN convention on migrant workers' rights?
