Large interest for OMICS 2019 migration conference - registration now open

With eleven different streams, covering many disciplines and research areas, from health, education and family ties to organsing civil society or labour markets, digitalization ans securitization, and with participating researchers from all corners of the world, we look forward to many interesting presentations in the beginning of November.

Keynote speakers

We are glad to welcome our keynote speakers to OMICS 2019:

• E. Tendayi Achiume is an Assistant Professor of Law at UCLA School of Law. She is also a Research Associate with the African Centre for Migration and Society at the University of Witwatersrand.
• Barbara Czarniawska is a Senior Professor at Gothenburg Research Institute, GRI, at the School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
• Achille Mbembe is a Research Professor of History and Politics at the Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research in Johannesburg, South Africa and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Romance Studies at the Franklin Humanities Institute, Duke University.
• Jenny Phillimore is a professor of Migration and Superdiversity at the Department of Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology at the University of Birmingham, UK, and director of the Institute for Research into Superdiversity.
• Thomas Spijkerboer is a professor of Migration Law at the Amsterdam Centre for Migration and Refugee Law of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2000, and Raoul Wallenberg Visiting Professor of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Lund University (Sweden) since November 2017.
